Traditionally used as a dressy top layer over a blanket, the matelassé coverlet gives a formal bed its final elegant polish. Our luxurious Italian-woven Corrado piqué matelassé bears a sophisticated geometric pattern that becomes the perfect counterpoint to many of our luxury bed linens. It was inspired by the beautiful and stately tile-work and architecture of Moorish Spain, and since this geometric pattern is so versatile, it coordinates well with other bedding.
